Day 6:
One race has been sailed in nice conditions: 12-15 knots and big waves. We crossed the finishing line in second position, but not enough to climb the ranking much. We end up 14th overall, and 12th european country. We have now some working points and will work hard to come stronger in December, for our first regattas test in Rio.

Day 5:
4 races have been sailed on the last day before the Medal race day. The wind was very light and shifty. We did really good starts and good moves but we had some problem to approach the marks in such a big fleet with not much wind.. With 4 disappointing races, we missed them medal race ;(

No wind for day 4 of the Europeans
Day 3:
Too much wind and waves ... the day has been cancelled. 4 races are scheduled for Day 4!
Day 2:
The wind picked up today with gusts up to 18 knots. We had more than 1 meter waves and as well a lot of trees and pieces of wood in the water. It become quite challenging to avoid them while sailing full speed. We had some good moments today and scored a 5th and a 9th. Unfortunatly we capsized in a tack during the second race of the day. We are 8th overall and fighting hard to come back in front! Still lots of races to come!
Day 1:
The wind didn't come in as strong as expected. We had around 7 to 11 knots of east wind, quite patchy all over the race course, with big waves. It was a very technical day and quite tricky for the tactic. We had some very good moment and scored a 11-15-3. We are now sitting 6th overall. More wind tomorrow with big waves .. fun :)

42 Nacras from 23 countries travelled down to Barcelona to compete in the 2015 Nacra17 Europeans Championship. A fleet of a very high level is ready to race an awesome week!
